only black bears tho not all bears!! there’s a rhyme to remember what to do for the bears if it’s black fight back if it’s brown lay down if it’s white goodnight. a grizzly might not attack u if u play dead and a black bear only will if u hurt their babies. of u see a polar bear ur already dead its too late

I knew brown bears and polar bears are deadly, but it’s good to know black bears won’t attack me unless I’d agitate them first. I don’t have any plans of approaching a bear anytime soon but this is definitely handy. Thank you for this dose of bear knowledge!

You know people in the mountains tend to domesticate black bears and then the bears get in the habit of coming back to the house for food and stuff NOT TRYING TO TELL YOU TO PET IT
