That’s not to excuse the affairs and say they didnt do awful things. But like, if u take a step back, it’s kind of remarkable how Charles’s family wouldn’t let him marry her and forced him to marry a girl he hardly knew (I love diana and she deserved FAR better) yet he never gave up (yeah I know the affairs were fucked up)
