Being fat is unhealthier on men btw. Fat plays an important role in female hormones. Also it’s much easier for men to lose weight on average. I feel like women get to be a bit fatter than men lol

Can’t imagine being so obsessed with looks that u can disregard the absolute torture fat women deal with from men…

I get you girl, but unfortunately I have dated a fat man 🥀 (he was skinny when we first got together though). I tried dropping hints (to spare his feelings + I would want the same for me if I got fat) but it just wasn’t processing. I don’t think I finished but maybe once or twice when he was fat. We’re now married and he’s skinny again thankfully and I tell him straight up now that he was fat. Like sir you are 5’4, you should not weigh almost as much as my 6’0 brother 💀

girl having a dating preference is not torture like where did i even say i condone men torturing fat women 😭 i obviously don’t think it’s okay to insult people for their weight but people can have preferences when it comes to dating. im sure you won’t be willing to date every man you see based on looks alone.

I don’t think that’s what they’re saying

But yeah I would never get with a man who was fat to begin with, but at the same time though I would never dump someone for getting fat.

if i was with a thin/fit guy who later got fat i probably wouldn’t dump him just because at that point there would be more than just physical attraction vs in the beginning. also by my definition of fat, i mean a man who is morbidly obese bc idc about a little chubbiness. i also couldn’t be with a pencil thin man who’s basically just bones. idk maybe my body standards are too strict 🥴🤷🏽‍♀️

i get that but there’s too much of a good thing and i know how being plus size is detrimental to the black community especially black women. so many of my older female relatives have weight related health issues bc of systemic issues and our culture. a lot of aa culture is centered around food especially unhealthy food. black women have the highest obesity rates in america and it’s quite literally killing us. i don’t want to raise my kids like that

Oh fs being on the extreme end definitely isn’t good. Just that the cutoff for our current beauty standards and even certain health metrics does not include the full range of healthy weights (I’m talking chunky and metabolically healthy, not obese or sick)

ohhhh ok actually i get this. Since I really like hiking and just being active in general, someone really under/overweight probably doesn’t have a lot of shared interests (especially for date activities). At least that’s my guess. Unless it’s a metabolic issue. But Otherwise, being slightly under/overweight doesn’t make someone less attractive to me. I especially find a little bit of chub to be very cute🥹 My bf has gotten a little bit of a belly this year and he doesn’t like it but I do🥹🥹

But if my bf suddenly got extremely fat or couldn’t be physically active for some other reason, I’d still love him and never even consider leaving him. He’s got me now.

He wasn’t just a little chubby though, he was clinically obese at one point
