the teammate has 2 moms and one would always say “let’s go big girl” for people serving but for me she’d say baby girl instead and at the end of my very last high school game she deadass hugged me for like 10 minutes she was so supportive of me for not even being my mom it was insane and i think she just saw herself in me like queer girl hiding herself to not be hated by her teammates in the south
