or just let them be comfortable with you and be allowed to do those things in a safe controlled environment. rather then them have to sneak around and lie

no thats part of the fun (thinking ur being sneaky)!!! my parents let me drink with friends and go to some parties but i still snuck out a couple times cause i wanted that feeling of rebellion. i didnt have to do anything crazy, maybe even just walk around my neighborhood but it was fun cause it was “bad”

teenagers want to rebel, they will always push slightly past what their parents allow of them im literally proposing that i pretend to allow less so that their rebellion is still within safe means no kid wants to drink just to have had alcohol. they want the fun and the crazy
