porn. And honestly, so many other aspects of the media. I’m a big reader, and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen books romanticizing aggression and extreme control and even sexual abuse/borderline rape. And there’s actually people who seem to think it’s hot. It’s mind blowing.

That’s not okay. Aggression and violence during sex (obviously different if consensual), is a big warning sign in potential domestic violence situations. I’m so sorry he said that to you. That’s so messed up😭❤️

A lot of them start watching porn in elementary they’ve been raised and groomed into it .. it’s as second nature as anything else we pick up in childhood. scary stuff
