Keeping your animals at an unhealthy weight isn’t cute

he needs to lose weight. pets being fat isn’t cute and puts a lot of stress on their bones and joints. honestly there are good cat foods out there for diet related issues that work pretty well

Look into what food you’re feeding him. Sometimes it’s not even your fault, it’s the ingredients in the food. For me, my dog was a tad bit overweight because his dog food is much higher in fat than comparative brands, instead of changing food, I changed his activity level. Whereas for cats it might be better to change their food (since I’m assuming the kitty is alr super active, and idk how else to get a cat active otherwise lol)

Girl… that’s fair. But I’m not doing it on purpose. I do need external validation to tell me it’s ok and good to put him on a diet.

Omg wait sorry I really respect you not getting defensive! Ya weight creepy up on all of us, even pets. Important to keep them at a healthy weight bc they would just keep eating if they could (don’t blame them). Get lil bro some exercise and cut down on the portions per the vet!
