hot take: i dont think its funny or cute when women are getting pregnant back to back to back. like let ur body heal and tell that man to get off you, and if hes upset about that then you DAMN sure shouldn’t be giving him more kids? like what????

thats just so reckless to me for the health of yourself and your babies. like is having baby #3 worth potentially leaving babies 1 and 2 with no mother? no? WAIT. give your womb a year to recover. the concept of 3 under 3 should NOT be as common as it is.

Usually when women get pregnant like that, it’s cuz they’re trying to have kids. Don’t try to tell others how to live their

thank you. i said this as a pro woman advocate. if you want more children, i have thoughts about more than 4, but your body your choice. but at LEAST. give ur body a break. my moms an obgyn. once i grew up, the amount of times she came home crying…we just knew what had happened. she couldn’t tell us much bc of HIPAA, but. we knew. and she was just their doctors. its heartbreaking and not worth the risk. you can have more later. let uour body HEAL.

ive read that a lot of women will even have sex before the 6-8 wks after birth bc they’re scared their husbands will cheat or get upset if they aren’t sleeping with him…hello? and you’re gonna go and get pregnant again?! and that man doesn’t care about ur health enough to at peast let your body heal before putting u through hell again at BEST?! absolutely not. absolutely not.

Funny enough my MIL is a midwife and she experienced the same thing. Personally I could never be with a man like that. I lost my libido for 6 months and my boyfriend supported me the entire time.

OP isn’t doing that bro, she’s showing concern for women who are getting pregnant back to back to back because it is not good for their bodies.

I mean yes and no. This is dangerous for the woman and the baby. Plus let’s face it in situations like these it’s usually someone else deciding this not the woman

Cool good for them. It’s still dangerous for them and their baby

yeah this was my point. i said in a diff comment it is their body and their choice and i believe in that right fully. im not calling for like laws against it. i just dont think its safe, the medical community at large doesnt think its safe, and i think that if you want a big family your goal should be to do that as safely as possible so you can be physically and emotionally present for the lives youre bringing into the world. hot take, i know. but im not folding on it.

oh god. especially that young thats so dangerous. i hope that she has a healthy and successful pregnancy, and is getting the resources to get herself and her babies to a safer environment. sometimes impregnation can be abuse too. thats where the phrase “barefoot and pregnant” comes from. its an adage men were told..so she cant run from you. i genuinely hope thats not the case but…idk i’ll pray for her😔

it’s not like she “gave” them kids, that kind of rhetoric keeps abused people in these situations

its not. but i can still advocate for women who want large families to do so safely so they can be there for all the children they want to have. im not stopping anyone lmao. i just think it’s unnecessarily dangerous. if you want multiple kids, have at it. but i’d think youd want to be alive and well to be a mother to all your children, and your husband/partner should respect your wombs healing enough to not risk the increased possibility that you wont be. just my opinion🤷‍♀️

nothing wrong with wanting multiple children and large families in theory. but in practice, doing back to back pregnancies and deliveries isn’t safe. never has been. god willing, your womb will still be there a year-2years later. so just wait, and let your body heal so you and your baby can have a safe pregnancy and not be at greater risk of serious complications or death. have the babies. but let yourself heal in between. thats all im sayin

Oh for sure! My MIL is a midwife who used to work for the Amish so she had all kinds of stories so it really can’t hurt to wait but it can hurt not to yk
