when i was being stalked & harassed (ended up being physically assaulted) by a man who was gay, it was INCREDIBLY hard to get help either from Title 9 or domestic violence/women’s safety places because it wasn’t dating related or an intimate partner. and i realized there was a huge gap in resources for women being abused in non-intimate circumstances.

bisexual girly here. when i was in theatre in high school, there was a gay guy who would try and get into the girls dressing room… where girls would be naked… and backed it up with “but im gay i dont want yall like that” and i pulled him aside one night and explained why it was weird, and he called me homophobic and tried to turn everyone against me. (they all realized quickly he was a weirdo using his sexuality to get away with shit).
