Was at wedding, 1 hard liquor + 3 wines in, my mom tells me to go talk to the lady who’s been lowkey trying to mentor me in getting a job (sensitive topic already) post grad and post year long internship. I ended up crying at a wedding reception 😐

As much as the job market sucks right now I’d say any job is better than no job. Get a waitressing job or something to hold you over until you can find a job in your desired field. Those jobs are also great way to show your ability to work well with those around you and communicate with the general public

I’m considering freelance photography because I want to work in the creative side of marketing.. but I don’t have my own camera. Idk, I’m very grateful to have my parents and a good amount of savings to keep paying my minimum loans. I might go a little longer before I go into restaurant service or retail

That’s fair. Anything is better than nothing then. There are cheaper cameras that have a unique quality to them. There are also many people that are willing to sell their cameras at a cheaper cost than retail if you check Facebook marketplace or alternative sites. It would help you make a portfolio. Wishing you luck ❤️

Yes thank you! 😊 there’s a reputable website for retail cameras where they’re the middle man and completely check out a camera before it’s sold, I just need to do more research on models before I commit but it’s definitely something that I think would be a worthwhile purchase
