not from family/friends but definitely from classmates. i’m half asian so im in the camp of “too white for asian kids but too asian for white kids”, and moved to a predominantly white neighborhood in middle school from a very diverse district… it wasn’t fun

This curiosity is not for anything offensive btw, I speak another language with my family and with certain friends I’ll have a few things I say in another language here & there. I’ve never experienced it and always assumed it wouldn’t happen but I recently saw a video from Australia of some girlies from my home country getting yelled at to speak English.
