well think about debates we have all the time: women in STEM spaces, assumed to be less intelligent + less capable leaders, healthcare, rights, r*pe and SA (victims), etc. This can apply to other people outside of women but a lot of our rights are new such as silly stuff like owning a credit card, etc. and it makes me realize we aren’t that far removed (if removed at all in some countries) from the way it used to be
