Yes, if you want NYC and bounced it for someone else, then why stick to that someone else’s plan for you at their convenience.

it was smth i always worried about too, it’s been really hard but its why its so important to make sure you stay yourself and keep your community close no matter how in love/ stable things are, if i had distanced from my people for him i would be screwed but i had my friends and hobbies and school to fall back into thank god
