i love them but ik im selfish and if i had them id would probably expect them to take care of me when im old. not fair to expect that of someone 🤷‍♀️

i wouldn’t say i love kids but i want them to have a loving family because they don’t deserve to grow up with trauma like i did and i wouldn’t be a good mother

No because I had so many people my age tell me I’m weird and selfish for not wanting children! I had someone literally tell me I’m gonna struggle finding a boyfriend that doesn’t want children and I’m a bitch if I wouldn’t date a single dad

Literally! I much rather foster a 12+ year old. So many children when they get left at fire stations or abandoned rarely get adopted since it’s harder. I rather make them lunch, drop them off at therapy and school but no babies

I remember seeing a statistic that pretty much half of the homeless populations here come from foster care and that broke my heart Idc how ima struggle getting kids as a single woman im adopting/fostering no matter what
