Price of gas is up. Job market is horrible. My rent is borderline unaffordable. Inflation is up 2.4% and my job is only giving me a 2.5% raise. 5 things at the grocery store cost me like $70. Oh my god when will it end

Literally. I get actual physical stress freaking out that I spent money and was irresponsible when it was $150 on groceries I NEEDED

My job didn’t even give me 2% raise 🫠 my pay increase was like 1.1% and my boss actually expected me to be super excited about it, even though my landlord increased rent by $200 recently

No LITERALLY!! I sat down the other day to work out my budget bc I was like “wow! I need to stop buying unnecessary things, I keep running out of money.” I haven’t bought anything unnecessary since January… it’s all been groceries, gas, or bills lmfao. My only solution is just to eat less ig??

Nah I’d be fuming wtf. My 2.5% raise feels like a slap in the face, if my company offered 1.1% I’d genuinely tell them to fuck off wtf. What’s that like, $10 a pay check?? 😭😭
