I’ve applied to so many jobs since post grad and was able to get a part time job last month. but my mom thinks I’m not trying at all. It’s been rough finding jobs and she doesn’t get it. Girl you don’t think I don’t want money?? I have bills too 🫩

I managed to get a career unrelated to my degree/experience in 2023. It pays the bills, I’m good at it, it’s all over the country, in desperate need, and I have room to grow in it. I just don’t love it and I could be paid more. After watching my fiancé apply to aviation jobs as a pilot for 6 months, only to bounce between UPS, uber eats, and now a factory job for the last 2 years, I’m just gonna stick to what I know :/ it’s horrendous out there

Felt. i’ve spent the past six? months applying to jobs & found nothing. A miracle happened though and a friend forwarded a job to me that was exactly in my career path and ended up hiring me. Moral is to ask your friends to keep an eye out lol

I graduated in August and I only had one interview in October and then this month I have two thats literally it don’t be too hard on yourself it’s really rough

Mind you, when I was looking for a new location to move to in that same career, I applied for probably 50+ jobs and only ONE called me back. That’s where I work now. It was only because my old boss knew the boss here and set it up.

Yeah it suck’s cs I’ve had phone interviews scheduled then they don’t call and I’ll get a rejection email right after. They don’t even bother giving you an interview they just go straight to rejection 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’ve had to do so many side hustles to manage

I’m sadly amazed they even send you a rejection. Most employers between us two didn’t even have the decency to tell us to stop holding our breath 🫩 like why do we have to go through all this shit between personalized emails, resumes and cover letters, and they can’t even email back for 2 seconds to say “sorry but no”???

This is absolutely no shame on you but holy shit the entitlement of some employers. “No one wants to work!!” Yeah because yoU WONT HIRE ANYONE
