be careful a lot of times this leads to resentment from the man

I also make more than him atm. He is so wonderful in so many ways but it gets tiring that every time I try to pay he feels like a failure. I want him to understand that it is ok if I make more than him and it is ok if I am the provider sometimes. He can still be the one to take care of me but I want him to stop spending his money on me.
