People will hammer it into their daughters’ heads that they’re going to be awful people in their teens, then start forcing that bias and expectations on them before they even become teenagers, then wonder why the girls are bad teenagers. Its “so much harder” to raise girls because society values men’s comfort and enjoyment over women’s autonomy and safety. Daughters have to stay inside and not go out because we cant restrict sons. And then because everyone lets their sons run wild, it’s not safe for the daughters. And thus the cycle continues.
