”but wouldn’t it be so nice to stay home while a man provides for you?” NO. i actually learned from the women before us that i actually don’t want to have the power of a kid & responsibilities of an entire home. i don’t wanna take benzos daily & divorce!
btw the man telling you he wants to “bring back traditional gender roles and expectations” is broke, short, out of shape, and doesn’t leave his house unless he has to. he ABSOLUTELY benefitted from feminism.

The concept of not having my own money and being entirely reliant on my husband honestly scares me

No bc I’d genuinely rather die then have a man throw it in my face that he funded my whole lifestyle. If my father can’t say it neither can you tf.

absolutely. women didn’t fight for the right to work, they fought for the right to be paid for their work.

This is why I want to start a business and work from home. No kids, just my work on my time, my own money and savings, and the initial support of my husband. I can’t imagine not chasing my dreams and not having the ability to leave if necessary. Plus I do genuinely enjoy cleaning, cooking and renovating so I can still do all of that

it’s terrifying! and then women, who silently communicate they think being a SAHM is an easy job, are like ”but wouldn’t it be nice to not have to work & just—” it IS work. it’s not a get out of work free card? it just means i don’t make money when i work.

Not to mention I just recently fully broke free of all financial control my dad had over me. He would use money to get me to do what he wanted, and I’m NOT going back to that shit.

it feels like someone asking me if i want to be my husband’s unpaid employee, and the answer to that question is without a doubt no! 😭
