i want my bf to get me flowers just because, but ive expressed in the past how horrible i am at taking care of plants so he doesnt think i would want flowers. for v day he got me the lego orchids instead of actual flowers, which i love, but i want flowers

i get you girl. you want him to get them for you without having to ask. unfortunately men are stupid, so you might have to be a bit more clearer on what you want. maybe let him know how pretty you think a bouquet of flowers are. something like that

Well you could ask in general for him to get you flowers sometimes, and then whenever he does get them it’ll still be his choice and a nice surprise

ask for a peace lily! they’re very easy to take care of. however if you have any dogs or cats i wouldn’t recommend since lilies are toxic to them

i love flowers too, but they’re hard to keep alive in a vase for long. so, i gather the bouquet and hang it upside down to dry. then the flowers live forever :)
