Yeah I was just thinking the same thing. “The only way I’m interesting if I talk about my trauma” what about hobbies or funny experiences you’ve had with friends? Deep thoughts or hot takes?

Apparently my hobbies are boring. I’m a history major and I’m really into science fiction and theater. But those things are boring to most people I meet. No one wants to hear about my strong opinions on women in Ancient Rome lol. I love art but I’m not good at it. I play three instruments but I’m not good at them. Talking about these things does not capture anyone’s attention like talking abt the more unfortunate things in my life tho. At least in my experience.
