tbh when i went for mine they just put me on birth control. it was worth it to go tho bc it ruled out anything serious going on, and it also meant i wasn’t getting faint every time i stood bc of the blood loss lol

Remember that you’re in charge of your care and they can’t do anything without your consent. You can always go and just talk the first time and you can decline any treatments you’re not comfortable with. They will likely offer birth control since it’s a well studied and familiar medication with other beneficial side effects. However, tranexamic acid or another medication may also be applicable.
