I had this happen to me soooo many times. Even black men who would go “I thought you were light skin” I’d ask why and they’d say my name… my name lead you to the conclusion that I am light skin?!

Dude men are SO WEIRD!!!!! I cannot relate (I’m a white passing Latina) but if a man feels the need to point out your race like it’s something that needs to be disclosed…. RUN! Race is soooooooooooo stupid to be hung up about. Every time I tell a man I’m Latina and he comes back with some stupid shit?? IMMEDIATELY NO. Can’t stand men sometimes

I’m light skinned but where’s the love for dark skinned queens? They deserve the love too! And let’s not get me started on the fact when a white guy finds out that I’m black they either block me or sexualize me but gang I just wanted some friends or maybe something more 🫩

Literally! White men do the same to me. I only met one white guy who wasn’t weird to me and we’re friends. I once met an Italian guy and when he found out I was black he blocked me SO QUICK I couldn’t do anything but laugh.

I was talking to this white guy and we had the same hobbies, interests and passions and then he saw one photo of me he blocked me so fast and it kinda hurts so much

I feel you girl. That stuff used to hurt my feelings too so I just stopped trying with white guys. It started to make me feel like something was wrong with me which was not the case at all.
