How can some women still want the trad-wife life. If I was ever in that position I genuinely would believe that there is no point in life when it’s all about cooking, cleaning, and staying home all the time

I mean trad wife is a very loaded term but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with wanting to be a stay at home mom who cooks and cleans

i’ve never understood it either. i have no desire to be mom, stay at home, cook and clean all day, etc. i would rather kms and yes i’m being deadass. i would be so depressed.

That sounds more appealing than anything going on in the outside world… to me.

Tbh I kinda want that cause I just want to create a home and live a slow life. I’d like the idea though of still having my own little business on the side for a sense of purpose/independence. I just don’t resonate with the hustle culture lifestyle because my life is not all about my work. It’s about the people I love. Not that I find anything wrong with the latter, it’s just not for me.

came back here to add that completely relying on a man for finances is not smart either. always have your own money so you can get out of a situation if you need to if you DO choose this lifestyle.

no. feminism is advocacy for and implementation of gendered equality. women make plenty of choices that are not just not-feminist but actively anti-feminist, including but not limited to tradwifery

Yes, but I think choosing to be a stay at home mom can be a feminist choice

It ALWAYS comes with those politics. That’s what make it tradwife and not just being a stay at home mom
