this dog rescue near me charges $500 to adopt a puppy and does not adopt dogs out to people without fenced yards. yet they constantly post “dog has been here for 3 years now and we just don’t know why 🥺” like are you serious

they also make volunteers pay to work there…atp i feel like they’re just evil and preying on people who are trying to do a good thing

i’m just ranting now but they also don’t spay abort pregnant dogs they get. i know this is controversial in the rescue world but in my humble opinion any shelter that doesn’t spay abort (if it is safe to do so) is just as bad as a byb. you’re allowing animals to be born to sell them to fund your shelter yet wanna sit here and preach how evil breeders are
