Bruh my 27yo (male) friend told me a couple weeks ago that he was talking to his friend’s 17yo ex gf on snap after they broke up. & I told him unequivocally that that’s wrong, even if they’re just friends, and that he needs to block her asap (1/2 cont)

Well today he tells me that when visiting NY for a friend’s family this weekend (across the country from us) he was going to meet up with her in person bc she lives in NY. But his therapist talked him out of it. And that when I shared my concerns about talking to her he felt like I was too harsh and wasn’t willing to hear him out first. And felt shut down. I just told him that kinda thing is black and white for me, if you’re that age you shoudnt be talking to 17yos like that ever

I have no tolerance for that kinda thing but apologized for being understanding enough but like I feel like I shoudnt even apologize about it. I was in no way rude or mean, just direct Now idk how to feel about him tho
