MLK and Kirk were both public speakers who used their voice for their beliefs. They both got assassinated for their opinions and became what people were talking about on news and other platforms. The only difference is what they believed in, the platforms available back then compared to now. The main point is that they got assassinated for talking about their beliefs and became the talking point in news, radio, and now on social media for Kirk.

Look at the context with what he said. He said the civil rights bill was a mistake because it was so long, and it should have been written differently, that the outcome of the civil rights act of 1964 resulted unintentionally in MORE racism where it didn’t exist previously. He loved the intention of the act but disliked it because it didn’t accomplish what it was meant to do.

Yea, some sources say 49% of gun owners have used them to stop others from shooting, and other sources say it’s less than 1.9%. I’m not sure where that boundary lies, but I know that stronger gun laws keeps people who shouldn’t have guns from having guns. Stricter legislation is key.
