Quick guys my roommates blind grandma is coming over to feel the house and I just made Mac and cheese. How do I cover the stovetop so she doesn’t put her hand on the hot burner?

Put an upside down pot over the burner that you used

Does she need to be in the kitchen ? otherwise can she just go to a different room

She wants a layout of the house so she’ll be feeling everywhere

depending on what kind of stove you have, they usually have a light indicating when the stove top is hot / otherwise I think it takes 30 minutes to an hour? i’m not sure:( could you save the kitchen for last? Or just be truthful with grandma and be like “hey my stove top is still hot so I’m gonna help you navigate around that” ?

and instead of feeling the top of the stove, she could touch like the front of the stove/the handle where the oven is

tbh, I read it that it was your grandma not your roommates grandma - just tell ur roommate for a heads up
