I promise you no one thinks this hard about it! People do this all the time at my college I don’t bat an eye I just assume everyone they know is busy or they just getting a quick bite

Nah don’t be, I’ve gone to places and even big dining halls with tons of groups sitting around and ate by myself. It’s chill and trust, no one gaf.

I do a bunch of college fairs and other events for work and I swear we don’t think anything abnormal about it! I’m really weird about doing things alone too

Yeah I guess I’m in my own head. I guess I just felt that way bc ppl always approach me when I’m by myself in public and they’re like why are you by yourself or just start convo. But I always worry it’s out of pity
