parents need to start teaching their kids that just because they have adhd, that doesn’t mean they can be assholes to their teachers/aides and be super defiant. currently dealing with this working in a high school and i want to rip my hair out

Omg I’m currently student teaching in an elementary school and I’m also dealing with this and while we’re at it: parents should pay more attention and actually parent their children, parents should learn to say no, and yes actually you’re child is fully capable of doing the “wrong” thing

Felt this. Im a specicial education teacher and some of these kids have never been met with true upheald boundaries before and it’s mind blowing to them when I say “hey if we can’t do X, we don’t get Y” and then when I don’t give them Y they freak out
