Clarifying sulfate shampoo every 3-4 washes, with a sulfate free shampoo in between. Dry shampoo in the morning (i recommend non-aerosol). Invest in a good boar bristle brush and brush for a good 5-10 minutes before you wash your hair to help distribute the oils. And make sure you wash all your brushes weekly.

Not your mother’s dry shampoo is great Don’t use moisturizing shampoo Shampoo your scalp and condition only the ends I tend to be less oily if I use a little heat on my hair, even if it’s just for styling

Do you have a recommendation for the clarifying shampoo

I use the OUAI detox shampoo! It’s a little pricey though, the Kristen ess clarifying works similarly and is much cheaper

I put some more of my recommendations in the comments. ALSO check to see if your city has hard water, if so that could definitely be causing build up as well. I’d you do have hard water get a shower filter and a shampoo to specifically remove minerals (like swim shampoo)

ALSO blow drying your hair rather than air drying works wonders
