Do you mean for like a nice dinner date or something like that or any date? Because if we’re going to a nice dinner then I would maybe agree, but if we’re catching a quick coffee or a casual lunch or something then I don’t mind what they wear as long as they look presentable. Just curious, you’re entitled to your own opinions regardless!

if a woman is dressed up and the guy isnt... that shows that he doesnt care or even realizes the importance in putting in that effort. it isnt a big deal to him. but it leaves the woman feeling unseen, like he doesnt care. like shes the only one putting forth effort. like she isnt special enough for him to be bothered to look nice.

hanging out at home, being comfy is fine. but some level of effort has to be there.. being the only one dressed up isnt a good feeling

Maybe I feel differently because I don’t really dress up much for dates, so I can’t really expect them to be dressed up either. Like I might wear a tank top and leggings, which is what I wear on a normal day, so I can’t be too upset if they show up in a t-shirt or something. I guess I have low standards lol
