My therapist just referred me to a psychiatrist and she said it’s just for medication purposes but my anxiety is saying it’s because she thinks I’m crazy

isn't it a thing where some conditions can't get officially diagnosed unless it's by a psychiatrist, which would be needed to get certain medications

I’m not really sure what all my therapist is certified to do, but I do know that since she is in Illinois and I am in Missouri she can’t prescribe me medication anyway cause Missouris laws don’t allow medication to be prescribed without meeting in person
