he wasn’t my boyfriend when I was getting to know him, I made sure I knew him before I decided my feelings, of course you learn new things about people in a relationship too

I didn't like him at first sight but we had a class together in high school and he had a super magnetic energy. My shy ass finally slid into his DMs and we messaged as friends that clearly had feelings for each other for a few weeks/months (mainly bc it was the summer and I was away on vacation) and then actually started dating when I got back.

it was, but when I went to college he stopped putting in effort, he made me stay up late to call him even though I had classes and he wasn’t going to college. He never woke up earlier for me so I dumped him

Mainly my initial feelings before we started talking was that I really wanted to keep him in my life even if we couldn't be partners because he was really interesting and I knew I'd never have another chance if I didn't give it a shot since he was graduating.
