It’s to prevent the media sources from being sued. Despite us knowing they did it, they must use this language in order to keep being able to report on it until a legal decision has been made

It is very annoying and it feels like they’re trying to diminish her story but on a real note it’s a legal thing, they truly cannot make any claims or assertions

that there’s evidence on both sides and it’s inconclusive. we obviously don’t know the full story and instead crowd public opinion with “i am jane doe”. like i do not identify as a jane doe. i think the movement is stupid as a girl and that this matter should be decided by the law. obviously rape is bad but what if it was entirely a false report and the “rapists” lives got ruined?
