i know this is a personal question - but once you get the bill for it could you let me know how much the surgery is with and without insurance if you have insurance?

I’m feeling pretty good right now as of day 1, the incision sites are a little sore but I can walk fairly well and the pain is nowhere near as bad as I thought it’d be

They put an anti-nausea patch on me in the hospital that I’m supposed to wear for the next three days. Plus sent me home with high strength Tylenol and ibuprofen, as well as oxycodone. Plus gave me laxatives because the oxycodone can cause constipation and you don’t want any straining with the scars

I’m glad recovery is going well for OP, I just had the surgery done on the 7th and got diagnosed stage 1 with severe cramping from fluid build up and recovery hasn’t gone as well for me. (not trying to sound like a pity party lol) I just want to say that it really depends on the person and how much your body takes to recover, it’s been 5 days since mine and I am just now able to walk and stuff relatively normally but I still struggle a little to bend over and things like that.

yeah there are technically 5 stages but you’ll rlly only hear them use 4 bc stage 5 is only used for really extreme cases. each stage is determined by the extent of the findings not the amount of pain someone is in so technically someone with stage 1 could be in more pain than someone with stage 3 but the person with stage 3 has it more severely

Thank you, I’m sorry it hasn’t been as smooth of a recovery for you. I’m glad you’re starting to feel better though, and congrats to us both on getting through this ❤️
