i need outside opinions. so my bf hates all my guy friends and genuinely wants me to never see them again and unadd them on everything, and i want him to be comfortable and i respect his boundaries but this feels a little controlling and extreme. idk

you respect HIS boundaries... but he doesn't seem to have any hesitation when telling you what to do & who to talk to.. this is 100% controlling, and is a sign there is worse to come. this relationship may very well be temporary. and your friends will see how you switched up and how you treated them as disposable for male validation. be careful of the path you're on.

So a relationship is NOT “do as I say, not as I do.” If he expects something from you, he needs to adhere to his own rules. He doesn’t get to boss you around and then expect himself to get away with it.
