YES. it’s good to be aware of what resources are available in your area. i used to work with a sexual assault support center and they would offer free counselling, legal advocates, accompaniments to the hospital or court, etc. contacting an educational institution is valid if that’s something important to you but most do not have the best resources to support you even if they are willing to act in some way .
