That’s really telling for a mother to think of her own child able to do that… typically mothers bend over backwards to make every excuse they can for their kids.

It brings me a lot of peace that she can be honest about it rather than coddle him and think he's perfect but also scary because like how did we let it get to this point in parenting where she's worried about what he may participate in when drinking or around other men. It's really devastating for me to think of as an older sister too
