I think some colors definitely work better with others from a design perspective but like lighting is also going to severely impact how both you and your clothes look so at the end of the day just wear what you like

the way it’s practiced seem a bit consumerist but 90% of “color analysis” is just undertones

Just go to your local hardware store and put your hand up against the color wall, same effect for free
