My fiancé told me he didn’t want to have kids or bring kids into this world with disadvantages with one being PCOS. Last year it was confirmed that I had pcos which I figured this when I was in high school 4 years ago.

Don’t get me wrong i understand stand him and if it’s in our control to protect our kids from something then by all means right?!?! But I felt some type of way because it’s like I was to experience carrying and having a baby vs adopting which I’m interested in too but. Yeah

Everything she needs to be in all around good health and educate her on it.

I don’t think that should be a reason either. I’m healthy, I meal prep, workout consistently, take my prescriptions. I’m in all around good health for the most part. The Main thing about pcos is infertility. Then the abnormal hormones, facial hair growth or excessive hair growth, etc. I feel like just as long as I’m doing my part then we should be fine for a successful pregnancy. If we have a daughter and she has pcos because of me, I can’t control that. All I can do is make sure she has

Passing it down. Which is why he said he didn’t want to bring kids into this world with disadvantages. One disadvantage being pcos

yeah idk what the deal is unless the dr says it's a condition where they wont have any quality of life or you're not able to care for them if they're guaranteed to have a certain condition but like pcos is not that kind of condition yk

Exactly. If nothing harmful to the point where they just can’t do then I understand. Pcos isn’t that at all.
