My nephew is 14 turning 15 this year and he still carries around his baby blankets, and still uses them to comfort him. It just warms my heart like thats my baby

I’m almost 23 and still cannot sleep without my baby blanket even though it’s pretty much just a tangle of string at this point

my friend (24) still has their teddy bear but the thing is, the teddy bear looks more like a nervous system than a bear. it’s just in shreds except for the head.

My brother and I still have ours. Anytime I get into a new relationship I hold it up like “this is my baby blanket, I will always love this more than I love you. It will always be more important than you. If you don’t like it you can leave.”

I’m almost 23 and I still have 3 soft baby dolls that I sleep with every night and I’m disappointed if I forget them when I spend the night at my parent’s house instead of my temporary work housing! There’s 3 because my mom kept buying more in case i lost one, but then I’d find them and she couldn’t take it from me because I’d fall in love immediately lol

I’m almost 21 and also still can’t sleep with mine. It’s still got form but the edges are absolutely tattered and one side doesn’t have the fringe anymore. I’m so thankful to know that I’m not alone in this. I feel like such a child still needing it but this lessens that

Mine is starting to also come apart but it’s held up super well compared to most others that I’ve seen. It’s quilted on one side and has a soft fabric on the other with a ruffle around the edges. Since it’s held up well if I get the chance I would try to find one like it to give to someone when they have a kid.

Before my bf and I moved in together I brought out my blankie and told him that I can’t sleep without it and it goes everywhere I go that I’m gonna be sleeping and that he couldn’t make fun of me. I guess I didn’t do a great job of hiding it when he came over cause he said he already knew I had it lmao
