I’m so freaking embarrassed She couldn’t even do it because of the way I naturally react to it💀. Started asking if I’d been SA’d and that’s the reason I was so sensitive to it. No it just hurts 😭idk why and I wish someone would tell me why

I have a Pap smear today :( I’m scared. Last time it hurt so bad. Everyone said it doesn’t hurt but I was crying it hurt so bad

i have the same issues and mine said i likely have vaginismus or some sort of hymen issue. i’m sorry yours made it seem like you were weird for not enjoying an uncomfortable, invasive, and often painful procedure

not personally besides asking for a smaller speculum, i just go a little less frequently than i should — but i know some people get an anti anxiety pill prescribed to help make it more tolerable
