Lots of people use the game for different things!! Once you get the hang of building/creating it can be really fun. Cheats are also your friend if you want to build elaborate houses and have large families (in regard to money). You can also play in a more traditional manner, starting with nothing and working for money, trying to complete certain quests (found on homepage), but I personally am not a fan of that style of play.

Sims isn’t really a game you ‘beat’ it’s more like controlling a person’s life. Me personally, I created a sims player, then create their home and then choose what life I want them to have. It’s like storytelling in your head, but you get to play it out. You decide what kind of life they live messy, successful, toxic, peaceful whatever you want.
