it’s not a moral failing on your part, you’re a product of a society and a woman living in a misogynistic world where you are objectified in exchange for love. it makes sense you’d do things you’d regret. nothing is wrong with what you did, and if it doesn’t align with your values now that doesn’t mean you’re a bad person. it just means you’ve grown and know yourself better now, just like anyone else

you can have regrets and still forgive yourself! everyone evolves throughout life. it would be crazy to expect that we’ve always done things that align with our current values
