I had a talk about this with a friends actually, she was saying she’s believes woman have the choice but she feels it’s immoral when ppl treat abortion like it’s a contraceptive like ppl are purposely having unsafe sex, not caring if they get pregnant and then get an abortion she feels it’s wrong. What do you think? We had a long debate about this and just morals and stuff
personally i feel quite similarly, like there are a lot of resources to prevent pregnancy and if you are using that as a main method that makes me feel icky. i support women to have a choice over their body but there should be awareness of how serious it is and it is an intense procedure that i feel should be prevented to have as much as possible. cause it is physically and emotionally intense, i feel like people who do that are really disconnected.
how i feel is i don’t give a fuck bc NOBODY uses it as a contraception. there’s only so many times a woman can get pregnant a year (there’s only a 30% chance on ovulation day). women who have gotten pregnant unintentionally should especially being the ones getting abortions bc if they want it gone why should they be trusted to be a parent? and don’t bring up adoption bullshit bc throwing it in that system is equally as bad as raising it poorly
