When skinny women can’t run or can barely work out it’s “cute” but when bigger girls struggle it’s embarrassing to be seen around them :/

as a chronically disabled and clinically underweight person, i guarantee no one has ever told me it’s cute, and it’s certainly not trying to be, but i’m sorry that’s been your experience

I’m talking mostly about like thin influencers and celebs? Conventionally attractive thin women? This post was sparked by a video of Kourtney kardashian struggling to finish a 5k and all the comments were talking about how cute it was. I can guarantee you if it was a fat person most comments would be making fun of her. Not trying to discount anyone’s experience but I’m simply talking about the effects and realities of fatphobia. Double standards

I literally just saw another video rn with olandria talking about why she doesn’t work out (bc she has bad knees and doesn’t like sweating) and it got hundreds of thousands of likes with comments saying “relatable”. A fat woman would be ripped to shreds 😭
