i just do it the same way i would without nails and i usually have them long

You can order silicone caps (often used by lesbians and other wlw) and use them for inserting your tampon when you have long nails. Makes it so much easier. +, you can boil and reuse them like a diva cup if you want to

i have fake nails and i use plastic applicators bc my fingers don’t have to go inside my body but if you don’t use applicators i fear i’m of no help here
