If you’ve done your research and are okay with the lifelong consequences of that decision (and I mean the general consequences of having an organ removed, not just the loss of it’s function) I don’t see the problem. Some people opt for that because pregnancy carries deadly consequences for them or are at high risk for uterine cancer so it’s not like it’s not a common decision.
it’s not like i’m getting one without researching it nor have i decided if i want one at all. even if i was, it’s no one’s fucking business. it’s my body, it’s not like i’m telling you what to do with yours. i shouldn’t have to explain myself or my decisions and when i do, you shouldn’t keep pushing. why push someone to force someone for an answer and then hate on them for saying it?
that’s my point!! i told them that i was just considering it for sometime (definitely not for a while) in the future after doing more research. anytime i try to explain that they downvote me and then say things like “you do know… can come from it right?” or “___ happens bc of this and you’ll have to deal with it for the rest of your life” and it’s just so annoying bc i’ve made it clear that i want to research it more and that it’s just something i was considering.
