I thought this and it turns out I was wrong, and now we’re both engaged to other people and still solid friends. I don’t blame you for being worried as I got extremely lucky, but it doesn’t hurt to tell him anyway if you truly do think you could be friends with him.

Like I truly don’t think this guy can see me as just a friend anymore. If I tell him I’m not interested in him anymore he’ll either be pissed or depressed
